Personal History: Rem was born to a Mandalorian Mercenary by the name of Ardent Loria and a woman that was her mother, a woman Rem still knows nothing about. Ardent and Rem's mother lived fast and fell hard. Home for them was wherever they made it. They traveled the Galaxy, Rem's mother admiring Ardent's warrior spirit and Ardent enjoying finally having someone at his side after a long life of nothing but fighting wars on others behalf.
However the romantic vagabond lifestyle ended when Rem's mother found out she was pregnant. Both Ardent and her were annoyed at the prospect of raising a child, but neither wanted to commit to 'removing' the problem before it presented it self. Too much trouble and room for regret later on. So she carried the pregnancy to term and after the turn of the New Year, gave birth to Rem. She had her mothers eyes but her fathers dark hair. Holding the newborn in her arms, she decided she couldn't give her up. She was just too darn cute. And Ardent was honored to have a child so like him brought into the galaxy. However, shortly after Rem's birth something terrible happened to her mother.
What it was, Ardent never spoke about it after it occurred. His heart was broken but he persevered through his pain and kept finding Mercenary work through out the Galaxy, to keep both him and his daughter alive. Rem also grew up with stories about the Mandalorian wars through out history, how the Mandalorians had followed the Sith through out history and received so little in return aside from devastation to both their people and their wealth. Rem soon grew to resent, and eventually hate Sith (and other Dark siders all together) During her toddler years, Ardent also started to notice something strange about Rem.
When she cried, she shook objects through out the room. She snapped toys she was bored with without even touching them. When she giggled, her voice amplified and shook the entire foundation of wherever they were living at the time. Rem was Force Sensitive, he discovered! But he didn't have time to worry about the possible implications of this. In his efforts to keep clothes on Rem's back and food in her stomach he had fallen in with some pretty seedy people. He had refused them a job, and in revenge they attempted to target his family.
Bad move.
Ardent killed the people sent after Rem and the bastards who sent them. But now he was a wanted man. And so he did the only think he could think of to keep Rem safe. A girl with her abilities needed to learn how to master them. In his various jobs and missions, he had run up against a Force-Sensitive turned -Jedi whom had become something a friend to him, even after he had joined the New Jedi Order. Thinking quickly, he handed Rem off to him and left. Since then Rem has had sporadic contact with her father while she has trained to become a Jedi, usually a holo-letter on her birthday with some credits attached. She longs to see him face to face again and is intent on making that dream come true.
Appearance
Description: Rem, somewhat typically is a very pretty girl. Years of training at the Jedi Academy have given her an athletic but not overtly muscular form and her skin is naturally a pale white color, a trait apparently passed down from her mother to her. She wears her dark brown hair loose most of the time, but during formal occasions or when it might get in the way, she wears it in two Jedi braids.
As far as clothing goes, Rem prefers to wear the traditional Jedi robes most of the times. She finds them to both comfortable, flexible and appropriate for her position. However when the situation calls for it, she has been known to wear other forms of attire, such as a form fitting black jumpsuit and a flight suit for when ever she assumes the role of a pilot..
Personality: There are actually two sides of Rem Loria, two sides that take two very different sorts of people to bring out. One part of her is very empathetic and kind, with a desire to connect with people and form friendships. This part of her, once people get her to trust them will do anything to protect her friends and allies.
And another part of her is very vindictive and downright merciless. She doesn't like criminals, Sith, Dark Jedi and others who make it their business to go around hurting others. She considers all such people beyond redemption and won't think twice about flat out killing them, even when they beg for clemency. If you're a dark sider and you lose against her, it's game over.

Sample Post: Hundreds of Sith troops were assembled in the hangar in regular formation as Lord Malice's shuttle docked. As soon as the landing process was completed, Lord Malice, followed by several of her personnel bodyguards walked slowly down.
Her bodyguards were called The Handmaidens, due to the fact that every one of them was female. Everyone of them was a force adept and trained in the dark arts to varying degrees. How ever, their primary focus was lightsaber dueling, which they excelled at.
In contrast to Lord Malice, they wore dark purple and crimson robes. Their faces were also hidden under their hoods, which they were forbidden to take off while on duty.
Some of the Sith shivered as Lord Malice walked past them. The Wraith was always cold, but it seemed to get much colder when Malice was aboard. The Handmaidens were the only ones that were not affected, or so it seemed.
Malice was greeted by one of her Admirals, whom in turn brought several of his advisor's with him.
"Lord Malice, everything is place. We are ready to strike at your command."
He replied quickly, obviously wanting to leave Malice's presence as soon as possible.
"Excellent. How ever, I am not yet ready admiral. I still have several things to take care of before we begin our conquest."
She replied. Her "voice" sent a chill down his spine, but he managed to reply.
"But Lord Malice, everything is ready right now. The Republic's forces are weak, now is the time. Soon, The Republic's fleet will be able to resist us once more!"
He argued. Malice stopped dead in her tracks and stared at him. The bright silver eyes in her mask gleamed menacingly at him. She also dwarfed the Admiral in height, making the Dark Lord even more intimidating.
"Your predecessor also made the mistake of questioning my orders. It was also his last mistake."
Malice replied gently. Again, the Admiral shivered.
"Yes...yes. I apologize, Lord Malice."
He gave a bow before he backed away. Malice turned once more, and walked toward her quarters, escorted half the way by her Handmaidens, who departed for their own quarters.
Malice activated with the Force. It slid open silently, and she entered. The heavy steel blast door closed behind her. Malice's quarters were rather empty. It contained only stands for her collection of tomes and holocrons, and nothing more. This was intentional, how ever. The Dark Lord hardly ever slept. She waited.
She pulled her hood down, and her charcoal black hair spilled down. She reached behind her head, and undid the Mask. She took it gently off in the palm of her right hand, revealing her pale face. She sat it down on a stand.
She then approached the center of the room, which was clear of any objects. She sat down in a meditating position, and closed her eyes.
She connected to the force, and began to scourer the galaxy for any notable signatures of the force. She ignored the puerile signatures of the vast majority of sentience, only taking notice of some of the more powerful Jedi and Sith Lords. There was one signature she was always looking for...the one of her old master. But try as she might, she could never find him. She was sure he was alive. He was too powerful to die naturally, and few Sith or Jedi could kill him in any sort of duel, lightsaber or force related.
Still, she was also interested in looking for any new signatures that may have appeared while she was away.
